Product

What is SPC flooring?

SPC stands for Stone Polymer Composite. The core combines natural limestone powder with polymers, giving a rigid board that is fully waterproof and stays dimensionally stable.

Is the floor waterproof?

Yes. The floor is suitable for kitchens, hallways and bathrooms. It is not intended for outdoor use, saunas or areas with standing water.

Is an underlay needed?

No. An IXPE underlay is already attached to the floor. Adding a second underlay affects the locking system and is not permitted.

Which STANLEY ranges are available?

The 400, 600 and 700 Series are wood-look SPC floors. The 800 Series is a stone-look SPC floor tile. The 900 Series is an SPC wall tile, not a floor product.

Can the floor be used in shops and offices?

Yes. The floor ranges are classified for both residential and commercial use. The Use Class for each product is shown on the packaging and in its Technical Data Sheet.

Installation

Can I install the floor myself?

Yes. The i4F Drop-Lock system needs no glue and no specialist tools. For rooms with complex cut-outs, a professional fitter is recommended.

Can I lay it over my existing floor?

Yes, if the existing floor is firmly bonded, flat and dry. Carpet and other soft coverings must be removed first.

How much should I order?

Measure the surface area and add 10% for cutting waste. Allow more for diagonal or herringbone layouts.

What does the subfloor need to be like?

Clean, dry, load-bearing and flat, with a maximum deviation of 3 mm over 1 m. The full requirements are set out in the STANLEY Installation Guide.

Can it be used with underfloor heating?

Yes. The maximum floor surface temperature is 27°C, and the heating must be raised and lowered gradually. Confirm the compatibility of your system before installation.

Maintenance

How do I clean the floor?

Vacuum or sweep regularly, then clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a neutral cleaning agent. Never flood the floor with water.

How do I prevent scratches?

Fit felt pads under furniture legs, use soft castors under office chairs, and place an entrance mat at external doors. Sand and grit are the most common cause of premature wear.

What should I avoid?

Abrasive powders, bleach, solvents, wax, polish and steam cleaners. These damage the wear layer.

Can a damaged plank be replaced?

Yes. The floor is laid as a floating floor, so individual planks can be lifted and replaced. Keep a few spare planks from the original order.

Warranty

What warranty do I get?

Floors: 25 years residential and 10 years commercial. Wall tiles: 7 years residential and 3 years commercial.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use, provided the installation and maintenance instructions have been followed. The full terms are set out in the STANLEY Product Warranty.

Do I need to register my floor?

No. The warranty applies from the date of purchase.

What is not covered?

Damage from impact, scratching, sand and grit, unsuitable cleaning products, installation errors or moisture coming from the subfloor.

What do I do if there is a problem?

Contact the dealer you bought the floor from. Keep your original dated invoice, note the batch number from the packaging, and take photographs of the problem. If your dealer cannot help, write to warranty-sf@areafloors.com.tr.

Wall tiles (900 Series)

Can wall tiles be used on the floor?

No. The 900 Series is a 4 mm wall covering and must not be installed on floors.

Can they be used in a bathroom?

Yes, on bathroom walls. The wall must be dry and flat, and the requirements in the STANLEY Wall Tiles Installation Guide must be followed.

How are they fitted?

They lock together with a tongue and groove connection and are bonded to the wall with an MS-polymer panel adhesive. No grouting is required.
